RSDR would like to establish a network of emergency foster carers on standby for animals in the event an RSDR adopted animal is returned to our care. RSDR do their very best to screen applicants for adoption with phone interviews and home checks before travelling from Bulgaria, but sometimes circumstances outside of RSDR's control, mean the animal may be returned to RSDR. RSDR have very limited funds, and need help and support with emergencies. Fostering is a huge contribution to the animal rescue scene, and can be vital in an emergency to saving an animals life, due to sometimes no fault of the animal. Even the smallest gestures can mean saving a life.
Please help RSDR, with our special animals by putting your name down as a Emergency Foster Carer. If you can help, please fill out our Adoption Application Form with your details (but mark on the application - Foster Carer) To become a foster carer, you will be asked to undergo a phone interview & home check process. Once approved your details will then be kept on file, and you will be contacted in case of emergency. Please fill out adoption application form on our UK Adoption Page - mark on form foster carer
There are a number of areas that RSDR may need help with in the UK from transport, home checks, foster care, training advise, admin, data entry, social media - eg. facebook, promotion, fundraising etc. If you are interested in volunteering for RSDR, please state how you would like to help and fill out our volunteer form with your contact details on the form below.
