Description from the shelter

Tazzy is a very sweet girl and needs a little time to learn to trust strangers. She gets on well with the other dogs at the shelter - her best friend here is Doris. 

In new situations Tazzy can be insecure and needs some reassurance, we are therefore looking for people with experience and patience. She has been at the shelter for such a long time, it will take her a while to adjust to a home environment. 

How Tazzy came to RSDR 

In April 2013 we saw Tazzy running round Rudozem with blood around her mouth and in a panic. When we approached her she crawled under a parked car. Once we caught her, in become obvious she wasn't used to people and started screaming in fear. We had to use gloves to pick her up as she was trying to bite. 

We placed her in the staff-room so she could get used to people, other dogs and cats. At first she kept growling; something terrible must have happened to her as she was so terrified. Gradually, Tazzy learnt to trust us.
