Sassy's mother, Iris, was brought to the shelter with her 8 new born puppies. Iris was very skinny and had been neglected but even so she was such a good natured girl. Unfortunately 4 of the puppies died. Of the remaining 4, three were adopted and Sassy is still with us to this day. She really does live up to her name and for such a little dog, she has a huge personality.
