Raisha was found in July 2024 by Tony and Dianes granddaughters in the town centre. The children were heartbroken seeing the cat in such bad condition, dried blood around her mouth and the flies swarming her. Tony and Diane met the girls with a cat carrier and she was taken to the vets. At first she was severely dehydrated and couldn't even drink or eat on her own and had to be hand fed. She began to recover physically but mentally she never got over the trauma. She is still feral and won't let anyone approach her. She will be spayed and then she can live around the shelter knowing there is always food and water available without the risk of her getting pregnant.
