A RSDR dog walk / dog show on the Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April is being organised to raise funds for RSDR.
Saturday 25th April 2015 - Dog walk starting at 12pm for pet owners. Picnic lunch , drinks, cakes, sandwiches, burgers, tea and coffee available for purchase afterwards. Water available for dogs and FREE doggie treats. £ 5 pounds entry fee pay on the day.
Saturday 25 April Evening - Catch up later that night with an evening dinner (dogs welcome) in our heated Marquee at Mildenhall House for a 3 course dinner. Dinner will include - Soup, new potatoes, various salads, bread, meats, cheese and quiches, followed by a yummy desert for £ 25 pounds per person. Sunday 26th April 2015 - 12pm start there will be a fun Dog Show with 10 different classes. 1 pound entry fee per class. Food & Drinks available for purchase and a raffle will be drawn.

Nicole Adams will be participating in the Warwick Castle Rotary Club 10 - Castle to Castle 10km Race to help raise funds for RSDR. The event will be held on the Friday 6 June 2014, and the race will go from Warwick castle to Kennilworth Castle, in the UK.

RSDR will be holding a stall at this years Snodland Dog show at Snodland, Kent in the UK on the 29 September 2013.

Our Dutch Team had an RSDR stall at Sphoekes day in Heteren in the Netherlands on the Sunday 1 September 2013.
On Sunday 23rd of june 2013 two of our UK team - Teresa & Sarah - along with volunteers Veronika and her husband Richard held a stall at the Tunbridge Dog Stall. It was a very successful day with the grand total of £132 had been raised. A big thank you to Veronika and Richard for all their help.
A stall was held for RSDR at the Animal Welfare Charities Bazaar at Highfield Church Centre, Highland Lane, highfield, Southampton on the 4 May 2013. The stall was organised by Eva Laysan, Mark Bursey and Jayne Laysan.
The stall raised 60 pounds. Thank you so much guys for a job well done.
A Bring & Buy Sale was held at Cliffords Mesne Village Hall in Newent, Gloucestershire, UK on the Saturday 13 April 2013. Thank you very much to Ruth Sanderson for organising the event and for raising a wonderful 534.16 euros.

A Dog Walk was held at Warley Woods, Smethwick, West Midlands on the Sunday 21 April 2013 to raise funds for Rudozem Street Dog Rescue. A stall of cakes was sold at the event.

Tracey Lindsey our UK Adoption Co-Ordinator recently had a small stall at Pets for Homes in Haverford, Wales to promote and create awareness for RSDR. Tracey raised £ 85.00 on the day. Thank you Tracey for a job well done.

Gareth Duffin recently completed a 27 hours Drumathon on the 9th February.
His amazing accomplished raised £ 2,231.00 for RSDR. We can’t thank Gareth enough. Gareths Youtube Video of his event is now available on his fundraising page at the link below.
Gareth recently had a T shirt and set list signed by Icelandic group Sigur Ross, to auction on Ebay to raise funds for RSDR. Both items are signed by all three members, Jonsi, Georg and Or-ri. 77pounds was raised. Thank you Gareth
Thank you to Jayne and Eva Laysan and Eva’s boyfriend Mark for holding RSDR stalls at White Road parish Hall, Southampton on the 10th November and at Guildhall, Winchester on the 25th November.
Thank you to Jason church who completed the grueling 12 mile Spartan Beast obstacle Course from Hell on the 18th November. It was tough going and Jason had cramp but he did it for our dogs.
Thank you Angela Tutt for completing the 10 km Shock Absorbers women's only run on the 20th october. It was tough going but Angela said she kept thinking of the names of the RSDR dogs and it kept her going. Angela raised approximately 300 Euros.
Thank you to the Dutch team for hold-ing an RSDR stall at the Sphoek day In Holland at the end of September. It was lovely to see some of the adopted RSDR dogs there with their families. 180 Euros was raised and another 30 by Ineke selling charity bracelets.
Thank you to Jayne Laysan, Eva and Mark for hav-ing an RSDR stand at the Animal Welfare Charities Bazzar on the 27th october in Southampton. They raised 183 pounds then Jayne took some things to work to sell and raised more. She told her daughters she would match the amount raised so the total with Jayne’s donation was a fantastic 500.65 Euros.
Thank you to Daniel Pratt ( Sloth), Pippa Unwin and Pam Nicolson for representing and raising funds for RSDR at Pets At Home, Stoneferry, Hull on the 30th September and to Gemma at Pets At Home. Pippa and Sloth took along Holly, Elizabeth and Ariel and Pam took Roly along.
Thank you to all those that voted for the Harmony Fund Inc in the Chase Giving Competition. The Harmony Fund Inc came 14th place, and won $ 50,000. This was then divded between 25 charities, and RSDR are to receive $ 2000.00 US dollars (1,500 euros). "Harmony Fund Inc" & The Great Animal Chase are supporting RSDR's mission in a Winter Readiness Campaign, to help us raise funds for the Roof before this winter.
The "Harmony Fund Inc" has entered a "huge" competition on facebook in the "Chase Community Giving" competition and if they win a prize, they will divide the winnings with RSDR and 24 other needy charities. Chase Community Giving" is giving away 1.5 million dollars to help charities, with a huge first prize of $ 250,000.

Lyn Flanders had an exhibition of her artwork at Pittenweem library 28th July - 5th August. Lyn very kindly donated proceeds from the sale of her art to Serbian Forgotten Paws and Rudozem Street Dog Rescue. She also had information to display about the work of both charities to help raise awareness.
Many thanks to Sarah and Alice who did a sponsored bike ride for us on the 15th July. The sun was shining for them and they came very close to a herd of deer during their ride. The girls raised 155 euros for RSDR.
Many thanks to our Dutch team who had an RSDR stall at this event in Holland. 126.25 Euros was raised and 42 euros from charity bracelets sold by Ineke.

RSDR need this shelter, as by next Winter, we might not even have a shelter and this money would help us out a lot to be able to renovate the first shed in the Shelter. Last winter the roof nearly collapsed on the dogs/humans from the snow and even now the roof is leaking badly when it rains. Please don't let it happen we need the funds.
On the 1st april our fantastic team in Holland held an RSDR dog walk on the beach. 1060.75 Euros was raised towards the roof fund. Many of our adopted dogs were there and it was so nice for us to see pictures of them all together.
A big thank you to Derri, Justine and Kym who took part in the Orpington Marafun to raise funds for RSDR. 510 Euros was raised through the fundraising widgets on the website and approximately 100 pounds was raised in other donations. Nearly 700 Euros has been raised for the Food for Friends appeal in "honour of our dear Matty". This includes 150 from the kind gentleman who came up with the idea of this appeal and 150 from Anita Weber who matched his offer. Thank you so much to everyone who donated. Derri Dunn had a stall at the Snodland dog show in the UK - She got the whole stall there on her motorbike!!! At the front you can see some dog and cat beds she crocheted from rag strips - She calls them Rag and Bone pet beds!! Derri raised over £78.

On the 21st August members of our Dutch team held a stall at the Sphoedag in Holland. It was a great day and they raised 53 Euros for RSDR and many brand new collars were kindly donated to us. Lila who was being fostered by Jenny, one of our team members, was there on the day and it was there that she met the family who fell in love with her and adopted her. It was lovely that some of the RSDR dogs previously adopted were also there on the day. Patricia who adopted Teddy was there with him and Amber who she is now fostering. Kim and her family were there with Mila (Fluffy pup) and Gable who they have adopted and Jutta was there with Marek, now Logan who has gown into quite a large boy.

Thank you to a lovely group of people whom applied to the Nuneaton Council to do a street collection for RSDR earlier this month. Greyhounds Norman, Gabriel, Ramona and Floyd helped collect monies with the lovely Lynn Hopkins, Jo kemp, Sue Cotton, Fay McCallumand and Eluned Edwards. The group raised 130 pounds for RSDR. Thank you very much guys we appreciate it very much.
Marc Abraham, TV vet invited RSDR to share a stand again at this years Crufts. A big thank you to Julie, Sam and Nikita, Vicky and Tim, Charlotte, Becci, Jo and Heather who all helped out on the day. 175 pounds was raised and many items were donated either for the dogs or to be sold or raffled to raise funds.

Many thanks to ATAAC (Australian teenagers against animal cruelty) who helped to raise awareness and funds for RSDR at their stand at the Melbourne Pet and Animal Expo, last month. 500 euros was raised for RSDR.

Book Auction Closed. We raised $ 800.00 AUD for 2 books by Dean Koontz. Thank you for supporting Rudozem Street Dog Rescue. Last year, well renown author, Dean Koontz donated signed copies of his books to the RSDR to help with fundraising. (see link for details on why Dean Koontz donated)
We were very kindly invited to share a stand at Crufts with Mark the vet from TV. This was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the plight of the street dogs in Bulgaria. Many items were donated by other companies and stall holders for which we were very grateful. Many thanks to Julie, Colin, Lisa, Heather, Rachel, Sam and Nikita who worked so hard and represented us on the day.
