In December of 2013, Nera and her siblings were brought to the shelter after witnessing their mum being brutally murdered. If the 2 men who brought them to us hadn't have intervened when they did, the puppies would have been next. The pups were terrified and it took them a very long time to learn to trust us. Nera is now a happy and healthy girl despite her terrible start in life and is still with us here at the shelter.
