In May 2014 we received a message asking for help with a sick dog. We travelled to Kurdjali where she was and after a short search we found her. Khaleesi was severely emaciated and had one of the worst cases of demodex that we had ever seen. She had cuts and open sores all over her body and was in so much pain. Despite that, she was the sweetest girl and craved affection. We took her home and the road to recovery began. Khaleesi is still with us today and is a picture of health and still the sweet girl she was when we found her.
