Description from the shelter
Jack has not been affected by his bad start. He feels at home in the shelter with the other dogs and is friendly to people. Jack enjoys being out and walks well on his lead. Every rescue dog needs some time to adjust after arriving in their forever home and Jack will be no different. We are looking for kind and patient owners to offer him a forever home.
How Jack came to RSDR
On the 21 February 2017, we were told that a women had dumped puppies and were asked if we could help. Unfortunately at the time were not allowed to take in any new animals until the shelter was registered and renovations were complete. Moments later, a car drove past the front of the gate and threw two bags out of the window. It turned out there were three puppies in the bag. Jack and his siblings were terrified and panicking. Jack's brother, Paxton, was so scared he tried to bite us and managed to escape. We managed to catch Paxton after a few days. After a while the puppies learnt to trust us and all became affectionate, happy dogs.
