Description from the shelter
Isha is very good with the other dogs at the shelter and feels at home here. She is friendly to people she knows and to new volunteers. She is happy and playful but she can be shy in new situations. Another stable dog in the house will do her a lot of good. Isha is looking for a quiet home with patient and caring people.
Isha's mother probably had some Karakachan in her. Although her offspring do not show any typical Karakachan traits, adopters should be aware that they can be naturally suspicious of strangers and independent so continued socialization is very important.
How Isha came to RSDR
We rescued Isha on 31 January 2013 after we were notified that some small puppies had been abandoned at a nearby factory. When we got there, there were 10 puppies running around and it became quite apparent that two litters had been dumped. The pups crept away anxiously but we managed to catch them all.
