Description from the shelter
Doris acts like a real shepherd; she is super sweet but watchful of people outside. She isn't afraid but she keeps a close eye on strange people. She is very easy going and we have no problems introducing her to new shelter staff and volunteers. She gets on well with the other dogs at the shelter - her best friend here is Tazzy.
In new situations Doris can be insecure and needs some reassurance, we are therefore looking for people with experience and patience. Doris recently had a cat test and passed with flying colours - she was very sweet to our shelter cat Amber and even licked her ears.
Doris's Mum and siblings have all been adopted so we hope Doris will find her forever home soon.
How Doris came to RSDR
Doris was found along a road with her mother, brother and sister on the 18th March 2013. Like so many dogs in Bulgaria, they were probably dumped on the road.
