Description from the shelter
Dee loves to be with other dogs and follows their example when interacting with people. She will need a special home with someone who is experienced and particularly patient as Dee is a very nervous dog and will need extra reassurance. We would like to place her in a home where she will have another dog as company as she tends to respond to other dogs more than humans. We will only place Dee in a quiet and adult-only home.
How Dee came to RSDR
We had been feeding Dee's Mother 'Mamadog' on a daily basis but to start with, she didn't like to be approached. We eventually gained her trust and she allowed us to stroke her and put a collar on her. We knew that she was feeding puppies, but despite many searches, they were nowhere to be found. On the 29th September 2016 Diane heard puppies outside, she was afraid they would be killed by passing cars, so she and Tony decided to catch them and take them back to the safety of the shelter.
