Description from the shelter
Bouncer is so ready for a home of his own. He is really cheerful and friendly to everyone he meets. He also gets on with the other dogs. He is very playful and loves life. Because he is quite large, we would prefer not to place him with with small dogs unless they too are playful and tough.
Bouncer had a cat test and he responded very well to the shelter cats. He really likes to go for walks but can pull on the leash so will need some training in this respect. His kennel is always clean in the morning so we don't think he will have any trouble becoming house-trained. Bouncer likes to be outside and due to his size, needs some space; we are therefore looking for a home with a decent garden for him.
He is a wonderful dog and really deserves a home of his own.
How Bouncer came to RSDR
In October 2016, several people asked Tony & Diane to rescue two dogs from the Kardzhali shelter (a so-called shelter where the dogs suffer terribly). As they were leaving with the two dogs, they noticed Bouncer; he had only been in the shelter a couple of days - he was badly injured with an open wound on his head which was bleeding and wounds on his legs and groin. He was cowering at the back of the pen but came to Diane when she gently called him over. Tony and Diane couldn't leave him there as they knew he would die so they carried him to the car and took him to safety.
