23/4/18 This is really heartbreaking. i cannot imagine the pain and suffering this little doggy has gone through.
A woman came to the shelter yesterday and asked us to take a dog and we said we are very sorry but we cannot take in any more dogs or cats. We are not sure if its the same woman but Kristofar received a phone call from a woman saying she's going to dump a dog behind the shelter. We found this little one nearly choking to death tied up with a bit of thin string. She must have been tied up behind the shelter during the night. She really is in a very bad way. We were going to set off to Provets straight away but their skin specialist is away until Wednesday. We will make her as comfortable as possible and start treating her ourselves. After a visit to the vets, we have a treatment plan and Adira is doing well :)
