Mossap was brought to me in February 2010. He really didn't look like he stood a chance of surviving. He had been kicked in the face and was unable to eat and drink so he was dehydrated and just a bag of bones. His tongue was black and hard, he couldn't close his mouth and the smell from it was terrible. For over a week, I fed him rehydration fluids through a syringe and then went on to soggy food. I had to close his mouth each time so that he could swallow. His antibiotics were crushed up with water and given the same way. His recovery took a long time and it was nearly a month before he could eat properly on his own. He is now a big glossy, healthy cat who sleeps round my head every night.
