Hi everyone, I'm Julie and live in the UK with my soon-to-be hubby Colin.  We were in Bansko, Bulgaria at Christmas and I was so upset by all the dogs there that on our return home I immediately started searching for 'rescue' organisations in Bulgaria.

Found Diane's website and have been following progress ever since.  Am trying to spread the word amongst friends to gain support and am really pleased that some of the dogs are now to be found new homes in Holland.

We have one MAD dog here called Finn who unfortunately is dog phobic so won't allow us to take another rescue so this is a great way to get involved.

Great work Diane, and of course Silvia and Vera who are finding the Dutch homes, keep it up.  :D

Hi Sil & Vera

You are doing really well to find all these homes, I love Snoopy, he is my favourite at the moment so I hope the person who is interested falls in love with him when he arrives.

I am waiting for some collars to arrive at my house which I will then send on to Diane, every little helps!

Please feel free to say hello and intoduce yourself.

Hi my name is Anita.  I have 1 cat and live in Australia.

I first came across Rudozem street dog rescue through the Facebook Group called "Bugarian Street Dogs".  If you haven't been to the facebook group - Press on Here that will take you to the Facebook group where there are over 3000 supporters who try to support the wonderful Rowles family who dedicate their time to saving these dogs.

I have become very passionate about helping this cause, and have cried and laughed over the stories & many photos of all of these dogs on Facebok.  They are such beautiful dogs, who just need a chance at going to a happy home, and no longer will be taunted & being abused.

I have donated to the cause and got a Sponsor dog, but I will keep helping as much as I can about getting awareness so the Rowles family can start their shelter and save many more dogs :D

Thank you to Diane, Tony, Sam, Kerry, Liam, Luke, Kosta  and the adoption team for all that you do.

Hugs  :)

Anita xxxx

Hi Everyone,

I'm Marigold. I live in Sussex, England, where I work part time as an English teacher, and bring up my 16-going-on-17 year old twins. I have now reached the stage in life when I prefer dogs to people - BY FAR!!!  I have one dog in my life at the moment (see picture!) Hopefully many more to come in the future....

I have been travelling to Bulgaria regularly for the last 5 years, and, although I think it's a wonderful place, am constantly hurt and shocked by the mis-treatment of animals there. Thank God for people like Diane and her family. Diane, what you do is amazing.

Hello there, I too am very happy to have found this site on Facebook. It is sad to be reminded of how many animals (of course people too) suffer all around the world. However, it is absolutely uplifting to see the photos on this site and read the stories. I admire what all of you involved do and only hope your organisation develops in order to keep helping dogs in the future!
