Hello everyone,
Fetch
RSDR have been published in the Youth Kennel Club magazine "Fetch", in the UK, in the June Edition.
It is a wonderful article that tells about the Street Dogs in Bulgaria and the great work Diane & Tony are
doing in the RSDR and our need for a dog shelter. Please view the article below:

Thank you to Youth Kennel Club for publishing an article about the RSDR and for Julie Lewis for telling YKC about RSDR.

Facebook News from Diane
22nd June
Sadie is still doing well and getting stronger each day.
There has been a karakachan roaming about recently. We don't see it every day and the dog is very wary. Two days ago it did go and eat some food that Tony put down for it. We looked for him or her yesterday and last night but there was no sign. Kerry informed us that she saw it yesterday, lay in the road eating somebody's hen. We are all keeping a look out for it so that at least we can feed it. We do however have to be very careful as karakachans by nature do not take kindly to strangers. It is different if they are well socialised as pups, but the ones here are used for guarding flocks.
We were outside not long ago, fitting collars for all the dogs that are leaving us for adoption on Thursday.
We heard a pup crying across the road and saw a baby trying to get under the fence from the field. At a glance we thought it was Tasha and couldn't understand how on earth she had got out. Luke took off after the pup which was running back across the field and Tony and I checked and all our pups were still in pens where they should be, including Tasha. Luke got the little girl pup and brought her back. She was very dehydrated but looked much better after puppy milk and food. It is a mystery how she got there but she was trying to get under the fence to cross the road to our house. We have called her Destiny.

Kind Regards
