Posted by RSDR on February 12, 2010 at 9:11 PM

14 Dogs are still available for adoption.  Our next transport to Holland for the adopted dogs is on the 24th February 2010.  If you can adopt one of these dogs within the next 10 days, please contact the RSDR Holland Adoption Team on rsdr@live.nl as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.

You can view the dogs still availabe for adoption and the ones that have been reserved at this link:  http://www.streetdogrescue.com/readyforadoption.htm

We currently have 8 dogs that have been adopted so far, but we still have 14 dogs in the house that not been adopted who would like a loving home.

Dogs Available

Wiliam and Trixie  -  This pair will be adopted together as they are so devoted to each other it would be heartbreaking to separate them.  They are both medium sized dogs who are very well behaved.  Both very loving, loyal and very friendly.

Lily  -   Lily has had a hard life as a street dog, and has suffered abuse aswell as had many dog litters.  Lily however does love people and attention.  She would make someone a great pet as she loves company and always wants to be with someone.  She would suit someone who is at home all the time and who has a secure fence.  She is medium sized.

Tristan  -  Tristan is one of the most friendliest social dogs you will ever meet.  He is also very intelligent and picks things up quickly.  He would make a lovely family pet and would be good with children.  He is absolutely beautiful with his black colouring and striking features.  He will be a bigger dog, and needs a lot of exercise, but if he has a family to play with he will get plenty.

 Tristan

Khan  -  An absolutely beautiful dog and a favourite already of all the RSDR supporters.  He even has his own fan club on facebook with quite a few members.  Khan was absoutely terrified of people and the other dogs when he first came to the RSDR.  But with time spent rehabilitating him and getting him used to people and dogs, he is now such a friendly lovely little dog who loves attention from people, and enjoys playing with some of the other dogs.

Michael  -  Michael was not born on the streets so he has not had to learn hardship, he was born at the RSDR house and is one of Lilys 2 pups that was born at the end of October.  He is a very loving and affectionate boy, and would make anyone a lovely pet.

Mica    -  Mica is Michaels sister.  She is one of 2 pups that was born to Lily at the end of October.  She is a loving little girl and would also make a lovely pet to any family.

 Mica

Holly  -  Holly is one of 2 pups born to Cassie.  Holly was born near the 8th November. She was abandoned along with her sister Ivy and her mum when she was just 5 weeks old.  Her mum is a karakachan (Bulgarian shepherd) mix and stands at 65cm.  It is expected that Holly will be a big girl like her mum.  She will need a home with plenty of space and someone to give her all the love and attention that she deserves. she is a happy friendly pup and a beautiful little girl.

Heather  -  Heather is a very social friendly dog and loves other dogs and people.  She was found wandering round the town centre on her own.  She would make a fantastic family pet as she would get on well with children and other pets.

Tara  -  Tara is one of the 3 little girls that was left in a box outside RSDR's gate. She is a lovely little girl and very sociable and would make a lovely pet for someone.  We believe Taras mother was a small Barak (a bulgarian hunting dog).

Bonny  -  Bonny is tara's sister who was left in a box outside RSDR's gate.  She is a very friendly social dog and loves a cuddle.  Her mother was a small Barak (A Bulgarian hunting dog)

 Bonny

Willow  -  We found Willow and her three siblings running about the roads. At the time she and her siblings were terrified of people and wouldn't come to us.  She is now a friendly little girl and loves attention from people.

 Willow

Duke  -  Duke was found with his brother Murphy in the town, suffering from hypothermia and severe flea infestation.  After being with the RSDR he is now a healthy and beautiful little boy.  We expect Duke to be a medium sized dog when he is fully grown.  He is a friendly littlle guy.  He is quiet and quite happy to wait his turn before getting attention but is very loving.
