Hi everyone, I have uploaded the photos from Sundays Adoptions, which you can all see at this link:

From Cor Beck

Our RSDR Adoption Co-Ordinator Cor Bec, said Sunday was a success and everything ran very smoothly with all the dog owners happy.

It was raining on Sunday morning, but as the adoptions were being held at Graces place, where she has a big carport, all the dogs

came out of the transport completely dry.  Cor advised, saying that on Sunday morning, both Keith and Chris from Pet Chauffeurs showed up at the right place exactly at 10:00am as was agreed and that Keith and Chris were both very nice and helpful to everyone.

The unloading of the dogs was done each at a time, without stress for the dogs.

Keith took the dogs out of the van, whilst Reini checked the health of each of them, to see if they were okay, then would give that dog to their happy new owner who took them into the backyard garden to go to the toilet, and spend some quiet time with each new owner.

All the other owners waited inside with a cup of coffee whilst each dog was unloaded.

After the owners decided it was time to go or have another coffee inside, they left the garden where both owners & dogs socialised inside.

Everyone was nice, happy and very relaxed when they went home.

All the dogs were fine and none of them had any major stress. Duke was a bit uncomfortable, but Chewy was the real hero, not afraid of anything or anybody.  The unloading went very easy with a lot of rest around the dogs.

At 11:10 am everyone was on their way home with their dogs.

At 11:15 Cor could call Diane to let her now everything was OK and everyone was happy, the dogs included.

HOT NEWS!!!

Duke is not fostered, but was immediatly adopted by the same people who adopted Murphy and the same has happened with Bonny, who was also adopted that afternoon.

All the dogs, were very open, some were a bit insecure, but not really afraid.

Every dog was good to approach and did accept looking straight in their eyes, no turning away. Not one dog was affraid for our hands and let us touch them when we want. they all react normal to all the children and the cat, which walked around.

All the dogs were well fed........and with dogs like Bonnie, Tara, Duke and Murphy their coats were shining...so they are in good health. Only Daemon had a sore paw, which he must have injured in his cage in transport.

Our compliments for the shape you brought these dogs to as they were all healthy.

Update on Monday from Cor & Reini

We've checked with all the owners on the dogs, and they are all okay. Only Aztec has a small ear infection but was being taken to the vet to check.

From RSDR

Everyone at RSDR and all their supporters, would like thank the Adoption team for a job well done and congratulate them on a successful adoption.   Thank you to Cor, Reini, Aurore and Grace.  You have done wonders for the RSDR dogs.

We also would like to give our best wishes to all the new owners of the dogs, and thank them also for adopting them and giving them loving new homes.  We will look forward to continual updates in the future on each of the dogs, and if you have any questions on any of them, or need any advise, please do not hesitate to send us an email.

More photos and videos will be uploaded in the coming days of the dogs with their families.
